- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 4 oz. mushroom pieces, drained & chopped
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 lb. ground beef, browned & drained
- 12 oz. spaghetti, cooked & drained
- 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a skillet, saute the onion and pepper in the butter.

2Add tomatoes, mushrooms and oregano.

3Add ground beef.

4Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

5Place 1/2 of the spaghetti in a greased 13 X 9 X 2 baking dish.

6Top with half of the mixture.
-
7Sprinkle with 1 c. shredded cheese.

8Repeat layers.

9Mix the soup and water until smooth.

10Pour over the casserole.

11Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

12Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
