  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (10 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 8 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 1 c. shredded Velveeta cheese

    Brown ground beef with green pepper and onion in skillet, stirring until ground beef is crumbly; drain. Stir in salt, chili powder, pepper and garlic powder. Add tomato sauce and spaghetti and mix well. Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, adding water if needed for a thinner consistency. Spoon into 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° until cheese melts and edges begin to brown.
