- 6 medium sized squash
- 1/2 c. diced ham
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Wash squash and cut into pieces.

2Add squash to a small amount of boiling salted water.

3Cover.

4When water returns to boiling, lower heat and cook until tender.

5Drain thoroughly and mash.

6Add other ingredients to squash and mix well.

7Pour into a 1-quart greased casserole dish.

8Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
