- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. buttered bread crumbs
- pinch of fine herbs
Directions

1Wash and dice unpeeled squash.

2Cook in small amount of water uncovered until tender.

3Mash well or force through a food mill or sieve.

4Add other ingredients; blend well.

5Turn into a 1 1/2-quart well-buttered ring mold.
