- 12 medium Roma tomatoes
- 3 to 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1 lb. dry spaghetti, cooked according to directions
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, at room temperature
- 1/2 c. fresh whole or 2 Tbsp. basil leaves
Directions

1Cut tomatoes in half lengthwise; set cut side up in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

2Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.

3Mix garlic with 1/3 cup parsley and 2 tablespoons olive oil; pat mixture over cut side of tomatoes.

4Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over tomatoes.

5Bake at 425° for 45 minutes.
