- 1 large unbaked turkey, thawed to room temperature
- 1/3 quartered apple
- 3 to 4 (3-inch) pieces celery
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 qt. warm water
- salt and pepper
- 1 quartered onion
Directions

1Preheat oven to 475°. Prepare turkey for cooking. Wash turkey and clean out turkey cavity. Put turkey in roasting pan. Stuff turkey with onion, celery and apple.

2Melt oleo and pour over turkey.

3Salt and pepper real good all over turkey. Add warm water.

4Put in a tightly closed roaster and bake at 475° for 1 hour.
