  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German's sweet chocolate
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 unbaked (10-inch) pie shell
  • 1 1/3 c. Baker's Angel Flake coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Melt chocolate with oleo over low heat; gradually blend in milk.

    Mix sugar, flour and salt; beat in eggs and vanilla gradually.

    Blend in chocolate mixture.

    Pour into shell.

    Mix coconut and pecans and sprinkle over filling.

    Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until top is puffed.

    Cool at least 4 hours before serving.
