- 1 lb. phyllo leaves
- 1/2 lb. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. finely chopped walnuts or almonds
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. honey
Directions

1Keep phyllo leaves under a damp cloth until needed.

2Using 1/2 of phyllo leaves, layer, spreading each with melted butter.

3Fold leaves as necessary to fit into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Combine nuts, sugar and cinnamon.

5Sprinkle over the leaves and butter.

6Top with remaining leaves, brushing each with melted butter.

7Cut into diamond shape and bake at 350° until golden brown, about 40 minutes.

8Honey is poured over each while they are hot.
