- 3 large ripe bananas
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted and cooled
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. each: salt and baking soda
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Lightly grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and set aside.

3In a bowl, mash bananas (you should have 1 cup). Beat in sugar, then egg and butter.

4In another bowl, stir together flour, salt and baking soda.

5Add to banana mixture and stir just until all flour is moistened.

6Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 55 to 60 minutes.

7Let loaf cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove to cool completely.
