  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted and cooled

    In large bowl, mix flour, salt and soda.

    a second bowl, combine bananas and sugar; stir well.

    Add egg and butter; stir to blend.

    Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients.

    Mix until just moistened.

    Pour batter into greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan. Bake at 325° for 55 to 60 minutes.
