- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 sticks butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 6 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Cream together sugar, butter or margarine and eggs; mix well. Sift flour and then measure out three cups; add soda and salt and sift again.

2Add flour mixture to butter mixture a little at a time letting your batter blend well between each addition.

3Add in bananas and nuts and mix well.

4Pour into well greased tube or Bundt pan and bake at 300° for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
