Banana Fruit Slush

  • 6 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 large (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed
  • 1 large (46 oz.) can pineapple-grapefruit juice
  • 5 bananas, pureed in blender
  • 1 (32 oz.) bottle Sprite

Directions

    Stir together the water and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

    Add juices and bananas and mix well.

    Pour into 2 1/2-gallon freezer containers or clean milk cartons.

    Cover and freeze at least 24 hours or up to 6 months.

    To serve, let thaw at room temperature about 4 hours until mixture is slushy, then add Sprite.

    If thawing half of recipe, add only 2 cups Sprite.
