  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. bananas mashed
  • 1 c. pecans chopped and floured
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy (light); add eggs.

    Mix flour, soda and salt together. Cream bananas till mushy.

    Add to butter mixture alternating flour, bananas and pecans. Pour into well grease loaf pan; bake for 55 to 60 minutes.

    Check for doneness with a toothpick in the middle.
