  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 real ripe bananas
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. lemon or vinegar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. oleo

Directions

    Blend together flour, soda, salt, eggs, bananas and milk. Beat until smooth; add lemon or vinegar and nuts.

    Put in well-greased and floured 13-inch pan (or loaf pan).

    Cook at 350° until toothpick comes out clean.

    Cool slightly; while still warm, put oleo on top.

    Turn on wire rack until cool.
