- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 sticks butter (room temperature)
- 2 eggs, beaten (at room temperature)
- 8 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. pecans, broken in small pieces
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. Crisco or Puritan oil
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter until fluffy; add eggs and bananas. Mix in flour and milk; add nuts and vanilla.

2Add oil last.

3Pour into greased and floured pans.

4Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.

5Yield: 2 regular or 3 small loaves.
