Banana Pudding

  • 1 large (6 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • 1 (10 oz.) box vanilla wafers
  • 4 large bananas
  • 3 c. milk (not more than 2 c. if skimmed)

Directions

    Put milk into large mixing bowl.

    Add pudding mix and mix on low speed until thickened.

    Add the cream and mix on low until mixed well, about 2 minutes.

    Fold the whipping topping into this mixture until it is well blended.

    Place a layer of vanilla wafers on bottom of a large deep dish and a layer of sliced bananas.

    Cover with half of pudding mixture.

    Repeat with another layer.

    Sprinkle some vanilla wafer crumbs on top.

    Refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Best made a couple of days in advance.
