Banana Split Cake

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 stick margarine or butter (softened)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine or butter
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 4 bananas
  • 1 large carton Cool Whip
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. chopped cherries

    Mix cracker crumbs with 1 stick of margarine.

    Press into 9 x 13- x 2-inch pan.

    Beat eggs, powdered sugar and 2 sticks of margarine together for 15 minutes.

    Spread over crust.

    Dice 4 bananas over, then spread pineapple over bananas.

    Spread topping over pineapple.

    Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cherries. Refrigerate overnight.
