Banana Split Cake

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 bananas, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (9 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 c. nuts and maraschino cherries

Directions

    Melt 1/2 cup margarine and add to graham cracker crumbs; mix well and pat in a 13 x 9 1/2 x 2-inch pan.

    Combine sugar, eggs, 1/2 cup softened margarine and vanilla; beat until smooth.

    Spread over graham cracker crust.

    Add a layer of banana slices and spread pineapple on top of bananas.

    Spread whipped topping evenly over pineapple.

    Sprinkle with nuts and cherries.
