- 2 or 3 bananas
- 1/2 gal. Neapolitan ice cream
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pt. whipping cream
Directions

1Slice bananas and line an 11 x 15-inch pan with them.

2Slice ice cream in 1/2-inch slices and layer on top of bananas.

3Freeze until firm.

4Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of butter; add powdered sugar and evaporated milk.

5Cook until mixture is thick and smooth, stirring constantly.

6Remove from heat and add vanilla.

7Cool chocolate mixture, then pour over ice cream. Freeze until firm (overnight).

8Whip the cream until stiff. Spread over chocolate layer.

9Store in freezer.

10Remove about 10 minutes before serving.

11This will keep for several weeks in the freezer.
