  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 35 vanilla wafers, finely crushed (about 1-1/4 cups)
  • 2-1/4 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 2)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts, divided

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Mix flour, wafer crumbs and baking powder until blended.

    Beat butter and sugar in medium bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs; mix well.

    Blend in bananas.

    Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.

    Stir in 1/2 cup nuts.

    Pour into 9x5-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with remaining nuts.
