- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 35 vanilla wafers, finely crushed (about 1-1/4 cups)
- 2-1/4 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 2)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts, divided
Directions

1Heat oven to 350F.

2Mix flour, wafer crumbs and baking powder until blended.

3Beat butter and sugar in medium bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.

4Add eggs; mix well.

5Blend in bananas.

6Add flour mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.

7Stir in 1/2 cup nuts.

8Pour into 9x5-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with remaining nuts.

9Bake 1 hour 10 min.

10or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

12Remove from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
