Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cup whole almonds

    Add the dry ingredients which is the sugar, cinnamon.

    Then the wet ingredients water, vanilla.

    Mix together in a medium-sized pan and heat to boil on medium heat.

    When sugar-water mixture is boiling add almonds and stir constantly, without changing the temperature.

    Stir almond mixture for 15-30 mins.

    Until all the liquid is dried up.

    When almond mixture is dried and sugar is crystallized remove from heat.

    And pour on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.

    Move around the almonds to make sure none are sticking.

    Wait at least 5-10mins to cool.
