Ingredients
- 3 c. all purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. baking pwdr
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. lard or possibly 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. water or possibly 1 c. lowfat milk
Directions

1In large bowl, mix together flour, baking pwdr, sugar and salt.

2Using pastry blender or possibly two knives, cut in lard till fine crumbs form.

3Stirring with fork, gradually add in sufficient of the water to create ball.

4Flatten to create circle about 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick.

5Using 2 1/2-inch (6 cm) cookie cutter, cut out biscuits.

6Place on baking sheet.

7Gather dough and repeat.

8Bake in centre of 425 F (220 C) oven for about 30 min or possibly till lightly browned.
