  • 1 c. cider
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 10 whole cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 c. red wine
  • 4 peppercorns
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • finely ground nut meats

    Combine ingredients except nuts.

    Marinate venison for 2 days in refrigerator, turning frequently.

    Cook as you would lamb. Cover with nuts for last 15 minutes of cooking.
