  • 2 c. water
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire
  • 2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 whole lemon

    Mix ingredients.

    Pour over 4 pound or larger brisket, fat side up.

    Cook brisket with sauce, covered, in 350° oven for 3 to 5 hours (depending on size of brisket).

    Turn after one hour if possible; baste.
