- 1/2 c. tomato ketchup
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- dash of salt
- dash of ground pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Directions

1Prepare marinade basting sauce.

2Place chicken in a bowl. Pour marinade over.

3Remove from marinade.

4Use it as a basting sauce for chicken.

5Place chicken on preheated barbecue grill or broiler.

6Baste with sauce on all sides.

7Grill chicken, basting and turning every 10 minutes, for about 30 minutes or until chicken is done and juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
