  • 1 fryer
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cut chicken in half and put in roaster.

    Mix vinegar, catsup, salt and pepper.

    Pour over chicken.

    Cover roaster and cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 350°.

    Take cover off and baste with juice. Keep basting until brown and tender.
