  • 3 lb. chicken legs, cut into thighs and legs
  • 1 can 7-Up
  • soy sauce to taste
  • 1/2 head garlic, chopped
  • black pepper to taste
  • sugar to taste

Directions

    Marinate chicken pieces for 24 hours in the refrigerator. Lift pieces from marinade. Discard marinade. Put chicken in baking pan and cover. Bake for 1 hour at 350°. Take off cover. Broil 5 to 10 minutes, uncovered, so the chicken will brownish red but not dark. Serve with hot boiled rice. Serves 6 to 8.
