- 3 to 4 lb. spare ribs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 (16 oz.) barbecue sauce or 2 c. homemade sauce
Directions

1Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper.

2Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler for 30 minutes.

3Brown ribs and pour off grease.

4Put sliced onions in crock-pot.

5Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock-pot.

6Pour on barbecue sauce.

7Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours (high 4 to 5).
