  • 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix (7 oz.)
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 3 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. water or beer
  • country style ribs, as many as you want

Directions

    Boil ribs, 15 minutes per pound. Mix all ingredients for sauce. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Drain ribs. Place, meaty side up, in roaster. Cover with sauce. Roast 1 1/2 hours at 350°, basting with sauce occasionally.
