- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, diced
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (14 or 15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 c. Minute original rice (uncooked)
Directions

1Cook and stir onion and pepper in hot oil in saucepan until tender.

2Stir in beans, water, barbecue sauce, bouillon cube and garlic powder.

3Bring to boil.

4Stir in rice and cover.

5Remove from heat.

6Let stand 5 minutes.

7Fluff with fork.

8Makes 6 servings.
