- 6 lb. chuck roast or 4 lb. rump roast
- 1/2 stock celery, chopped
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 3/4 bottle ketchup (14 oz.)
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/3 c. water
Directions

1Combine ingredients.

2Pour over roast.

3Cover and bake 6 hours at 300°.

4Remove beef from pan.

5Shred with 2 forks.

6Return meat to sauce.

7Makes about 20 sandwiches.

8Serve on semi-hard rolls.
