Ingredients
- 3 lb. chuck roast
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 1 c. catsup
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
Directions

1Trim all fat from roast.

2Brown in Dutch oven with a little oil.

3Combine all ingredients.

4Put meat in a heavy roasting pan, pour sauce over it and cover.

5Bake at 350° for 3 to 4 hours. Remove meat and shred with fork and return to sauce.

6For a little spicier version, add the sliced green bell pepper when you bake the roast.
