  • 4 to 6 lb. brisket
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Directions

    Trim brisket well and wrap in foil.

    Bake at 275° for 5 hours. Bring other ingredients to a boil and simmer 15 minutes.

    Pour over drained brisket and bake 1 1/2 hours more.
