Barbecued Possum

- 1 possum, dressed, but not cut up
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. Dale's steak seasoning
- barbecue sauce of choice
Directions

1Turn possum on its back and spread body cavity open.

2Use a hatchet to split backbone down the middle so possum will spread flat on the grill.

3Cook possum over medium coals, brushing often with mixture of melted margarine, vinegar and Dale's.

4Just before possum is done throughout, brush inside and out with barbecue sauce and cook until barbecue sauce cooks into the meat.

5Do not burn.
