- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 (8 or 10 oz.) can refrigerator flaky biscuits
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. shredded American cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Grease 10 cups in a muffin pan.

3Mix chopped onion with ground beef and brown in a skillet.

4Drain off excess fat.

5Stir in barbecue sauce.

6Add brown sugar.

7Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.

8Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Place 1 biscuit in each greased muffin cup; press firmly in bottom and up sides, forming rim around the top.

9Spoon about 1/4 cup meat mixture into each biscuit-lined cup.

10Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges of biscuits are golden brown.
