- 1 lb. stew meat
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 8 c. water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes in 1/2 c. hot water
- 14 oz. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 c. carrots, chopped
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. barley
- 1/4 c. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown stew meat in oil.

2Add water and cover.

3Cook 1 hour. Add bouillon, tomatoes, carrots, onion, celery, barley, parsley, salt and pepper.

4Cover and cook for 2 hours.
