- 8 cups white flour 2.2 pounds
- 2 1/16 tablespoons yeast fresh, 1 ounce or 1/3 ounce dry yeast
- 1 1/8 tablespoons salt 2/3 ounce
- 6 water 2 2/5 cups
Directions

1Put flour into large bowl.

2Stir yeast with warm water in small bowl. (If the water is cold, the yeast will not grow. If the water is too hot, the yeast will die.). Add salt.

3Mix with flour and KNEAD!

4Let raise until size doubles.

5Make two loafs and place on cookie sheet. Let raise again briefly.

6Bake at middle heat in preheated oven. Baking time is 40 to 70 minutes.
