Basic Brown Rice Salad

  • 2c Uncooked brown rice
  • 1/2 c Sunflower seeds
  • 3 Chopped spring onions
  • 1 finely chopped red and green pepper (1 each)
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1c roasted peanuts (or raw peanuts and microwave with a tsp. of oil for 5 mins stirring 1/2 way through and allow to cool)

Directions

    Cook rice and cool. Soak in 1/2 cup Soya sauce overnight or alt least two hours. Add all ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Add to salad

    Combine 1/2 cup canola oil, 2 crushed garlic and juice of a lemon. Mix through
