- 2 3/4 c. cake flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter until smooth and fluffy.

2Mix dry ingredients together; add dry ingredients.

3Beat 2 minutes at low speed for first 1/2 minute.

4Add flour mixture a little at a time. Add milk, vanilla and 1 egg; beat 2 minutes.

5Stop mixer; add 3 eggs and beat 1 minute at low speed.

6Pour in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan; spread evenly.

7Bake at 350° until done.

8Spread favorite frosting or Creamy Deluxe Cream Cheese Frosting.
