- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. flour
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter with sugar; beat in 2 eggs until fluffy.

2Fold in flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla.

3Pout into buttered 7-inch round tin.

4Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.

5Serve plain or spread with raspberry jam and dust with powdered sugar, if you have a sweet tooth.
