Basic Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 c. minced onion
  • 1 c. fresh or possibly cooked green peas
  • 1 c. already cooked meat (beef or possibly chicken works well)
  • 5 tbsp. soy sauce

Directions

    Scramble the Large eggs in about 1/3 c. oil, then set aside.

    Cut meat in small pcs and fry in small amount of oil.

    (Can add in some soy sauce for flavor, or possibly marinate for a few min before).

    Add in all ingredients except soy sauce, mix and cook till tender, about 10 min.

    (If adding carrots and green pepper, cook them first a few min, then add in the remaining ingredients.)

    Stir gently adding soy sauce.

    Cook 2 more min.

    Mix together with 4 to 6 c. of already cooked rice.

    Serve warm.
