Basic Hummus Recipe

- 2 clv garlic, peeled and crushed
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 x (15 oz) can garbanzo beans, liquid removed, liquid reserved
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir the garlic in extra virgin olive oil for approximately 3 min, till tender.

2Place garbanzo beans in a blender or possibly food processor with approximately 1 tsp.

3reserved liquid.

4Process till smooth.

5Fold in the garlic, sesame seeds, salt and pepper.

6Blend to desired consistency, increasing the amount of reserved garbanzo bean liquid as desired.

7Refrigeratein the refrigerator till serving.

8Makes 12 servings.
