- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Combine flour and salt.

2Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.

3With a fork, stir in enough cold water (1 tablespoon at a time) to moisten dry ingredients. Shape dough into a ball.

4Dough is ready to roll out.

5Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.

6Yields one 9-inch shell.
