Basic Pizza Dough

- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2/3 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- flour (extra for kneading)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Let stand until bubbly.

3Stir in oil, salt and 1 1/2 cups flour.

4Form into a ball and knead on lightly floured surface for 5 minutes, adding flour as necessary to make soft, sticky dough.

5Place in lightly oiled bowl.

6Cover and let rise in a warm place until three times in bulk (3 to 4 hours).

7Punch dough down.

8Roll out on floured surface to a 12-inch circle.
