Basic Roasted Duck Recipe

- 2 x Or possibly
- 3 x Frzn ducks Salt and pepper Water
- 2 med Onions, minced
- 3 x Or possibly
- 4 stalk celery, minced
- 1 pkt (1-lb) converted rice, if you like
Directions

1Place frzn ducks in an uncovered roasting pan.

2Salt and pepper freely.

3Roast in a 450 degree oven at least one hour till well browned on all sides.

4(It is important which the ducks are not thawed first.)

5Lower heat to 300 degrees.

6Add in water to pan to barely cover birds.

7Sprinkle celery and onions in water.

8Cover pan and bake another 2-1/2 to 3 hrs.

9By now the breasts should be showing signs of falling off the bone or possibly at least feel tender when pierced with a fork.

10Ducks are done and ready to eat or possibly be used as follows:WITH RICE: Add in rice to broth around duck, cover and bake another 30 min.
