- 1 cup basil leaves and stems
- 3 cloves garlic, smashed
- 2 tbsp. walnuts
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 3 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil
- cayenne pepper
- sea salt
Directions

1Place basil, garlic and walnuts in food processor. Pulse to chop. Add chickpeas and puree. Add lemon juice, olive oil and generous pinch of cayenne. Pulse for 2 - 3 seconds. Taste and season with salt before serving.
