Bavarian Cream Pie

- 3 tsp. Knox gelatine
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 egg whites
- 1 1/2 pt. whipped cream
- graham cracker crust
- grated sweet chocolate
Directions

1Soak gelatine for 5 minutes in 1/4 cup milk.

2Heat 1 cup milk in a double boiler.

3Add gelatine mixture.

4Stir into this mixture 2 egg yolks, sugar, salt and vanilla.

5Cook until thick.

6When cool, add stiffly beaten egg whites and whipped cream.

7Put in crust and top with grated sweet chocolate.

8Let set in refrigerator.

9Makes two large pies.
