Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. onion
  • 2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped fine
  • 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • flour to roll balls in
  • 1 1/2 c. tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. flour

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except tomatoes and 1/4 cup flour. Form small balls, roll in flour and brown in oil.

    Add remaining flour and tomatoes.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
