Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef (fresh, thawed or still frozen) or 1 lb ground buffalo meat (fresh, thawed or still frozen)
- 60 ounces canned pinto beans
- 1 12 cups frozen chopped onions (or fresh onion, chopped)
- 1 12 cups barbecue sauce (I use Kraft Original to make it gluten free)
Directions

1Put ground beef in the crock pot.

2I don't brown it, or even thaw it.

3If it's frozen, it's fine to leave it in one big lump.

4Drain & rinse the beans, then pour over beef.

5Add the chopped onion and barbeque sauce.

6Stir the onions, beans and sauce if you'd like.

7Cover and cook.

8I cook it on high 5 - 6 hours if the beef is frozen.

9Before serving, take out the beef and break it into bite-sized chunks.

10Return to the pot & stir.

11Serve hot or cold.
