  • 1 large can (50 oz.) green beans, drained
  • 2 medium cans wax beans, drained
  • 2 medium cans sliced red beets, drained
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 4 onions, chopped or sliced lengthwise
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. red wine vinegar
  • 3 c. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper until sugar is dissolved.

    Cover vegetables with liquid.

    Mix and refrigerate at least 2 days, stirring very gently once each day.

    Keeps very well.
